Jambo!
So, this is my first post. I'm packed up and ready to head off to Kenya and while my stomach is turning thinking of the flight, the rest of me is soooooo excited. I'm excited for going, excited to be working with the team I'm going with and totally stoked about meeting the community we'll be staying with!
I must keep this short but will update as often as I can (hopefully/likely weekly) with stories, thoughts, updates and pictures and just general 'how it's going.'
Thanks to all who came out on Saturday. It was a great night and a great way to spend one of my last two days in Canada and thanks for the well wishes from those I missed. I am very lucky.
Anyway, we'll be packing up the car and heading to the airport very shortly. Hopefully there will be wireless there to upload pics and spice this page up a little. Otherwise, I will write again when we get to Nairobi!
